Fall Kickoff Roundup: September Into Early October 2026
Kasabian's ninth album, Charli xcx's own arena tour, Phoebe Bridgers' phone-free run, Ringo Starr, Austin City Limits and Monsta X — five weeks of new music.
As summer tours wind down, the calendar fills back up fast. Over five weeks between early September and the first week of October, a British rock band closes out a long-delayed album, a pop star launches her own headlining tour in support of a record she just released weeks earlier, and two very different festival-and-legacy-act weekends bookend the stretch. Here's how it breaks down, week by week.
Week of September 1-7: Kasabian Finally Deliver ACT III
Kasabian release ACT III on September 4, their ninth studio album and first since 2024's Happenings. The Leicester band pushed the record back from an original July 17 date, saying they wanted to get everything right before sending it out. Serge Pizzorno continues to handle lead vocals, a role he's held since Tom Meighan's 2020 departure.Week of September 8-14: Two Arena Tours Open
Charli xcx kicks off her own headlining run, the Music, Fashion, Film Tour, in Philadelphia, on September 11 at Xfinity Mobile Arena — in support of the album of the same name she released back in July. Underscores opens every date as the tour continues across North America into late October with two-night stands in Brooklyn and Los Angeles.Three days later, Phoebe Bridgers brings The Lost Tour to Indianapolis for two nights at Gainbridge Fieldhouse starting September 14. The run is completely phone-free — phones and smartwatches go into Yondr pouches for the duration of each show — and supports her third studio album, Lost Weekend, with Alex G opening throughout North America.
Week of September 29-October 5: Legacy Acts and a Festival
October opens with Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens on October 1, part of a ten-date fall trek featuring Steve Lukather, Colin Hay and Hamish Stuart. The very next day, Austin City Limits opens its 25th-anniversary run across two weekends at Zilker Park, headlined by Charli XCX, Rufus Du Sol, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde and The XX.
Looking Ahead: October 6
Closing out the window, Monsta X bring THE X : NEXUS to Madison Square Garden's Infosys Theater on October 6, following three sold-out nights at Seoul's KSPO Dome and stops across Asia and Latin America.
