Don Was and The Pan-Detroit Ensemble Confirm Fall Tour Dates

The jazz-funk collective's run includes a full live performance of the Grateful Dead's Blues for Allah.

Don Was and The Pan-Detroit Ensemble have confirmed a fall trek stretching from Phoenix's MIM on August 3 through Bar Harbor's Criterion Theatre on October 18. Stops along the way include Telluride Jazz Festival, Chicago's Outlaw Music Festival Tour date, and multi-night runs in Minneapolis and Traverse City.

The setlist pairs original material from the group's Detroit-themed album with a full performance of the Grateful Dead's Blues for Allah, marking the record's 50th anniversary. The tour is booked through The Kurland Agency and High Road Touring.
