Lil Wayne played Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall on August 2, 2025 as part of Tha Carter VI Tour, a 34-city North American run supporting the sixth entry in his Carter album series and marking more than twenty years of the franchise. Tyga had been billed as support but withdrew from the date, and French Montana was announced in his place ahead of the Atlantic City show.
