Morgan Wallen released the standalone single Been By Now on July 24, 2026, a day after an exclusive first play on his SiriusXM channel. He debuted the song live at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, and it went to United States hot adult contemporary radio on July 27 and to pop and country formats on July 28. Wallen wrote it with Charlie Handsome, John Byron, Blake Pendergrass, Rocky Block and Taylor Phillips, framing a relationship that never moved past the will-they-won't-they stage.
