Lil Uzi Vert surprise-released the eight-track EP Maverick “Almost Forever” on July 31, 2026, their first new music of the year and a birthday drop that landed hours after a scheduled Lollapalooza set in Chicago was scrapped over travel problems. The record carries no guest features and returns to the melodic trap register of their earlier work, including London, a song previewed at Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash. The artwork hides the phrase “Album after this.”
